1. 7-day refund window
If you upgrade to a paid plan (Basic or Pro) for the first time and you're not satisfied within 7 days of the initial charge, email support@alcheclip.com from the address tied to your account and we'll issue a full refund.
No forms, no “why are you leaving” survey gauntlet, no retention flow. We'll process the refund within 5 business days back to the original payment method.
2. After the 7-day window
Beyond the initial 7 days, monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the period already paid. You can cancel any time from the Stripe customer portal — your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and is not renewed.
Exceptions where we will refund a partial month outside the 7-day window:
- A material outage or pipeline failure that prevented you from using the Service for a substantial portion of the billing period.
- Duplicate charges, fraudulent charges, or charges that occurred after you cancelled.
- Plan changes that we made without the legally required notice.
3. How to cancel
- Sign in to AlcheClip.
- Open Billing in the navigation.
- Click Manage subscription to open the Stripe customer portal.
- Choose Cancel plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
If you can't reach the portal for any reason, email support@alcheclip.com and we will cancel manually.
4. Account deletion
Cancelling a paid plan does not delete your account. To delete your account entirely (along with any remaining source videos and clips), email support@alcheclip.com. Source videos and clips auto-delete 30 days after job creation regardless of account status — see the Privacy Policy.
5. Free tier
The Free tier has nothing to refund. If you're on the Free tier and you'd like to delete your account, email us using the address above.
6. Chargebacks
Please email us before opening a chargeback — almost every issue we receive can be resolved with a same-day refund or fix. Chargebacks opened without first contacting support may result in account suspension until the dispute is resolved.
